I was a bit excited about this celebration because it is unusual that we eat outside Eastwood during the weekdays. So when Jho told me about this, I was giddy! Also because we are to try another restaurant for the first time. ツ The place is just a ride away from Eastwood but the ambiance is way too different. It felt like we were in a secluded place, much like the feels when at the beach. So peaceful, and no trace of the busy city. That's my type of location. Sillon is vintage-y and has an atmosphere of a home. Loved every bit of its interior, its ambiance, and most of all, its dishes. ツ We were grateful too that during that time, a few was dining (of course, given that this was the day before Christmas) so there was really peace and quiet, just what we needed after a long day at work (no sleep team represent!) :p But before going to Sillon, we started our day right by hearing mass at St. John II Parish, followed by our exchange of gifts. (we actually gave the gifts to each other prior to this day. Haha.) I loved what I received from Jho which is a ukelele and a red hand bag. ツ I knew Jho loved my gift too which is an artist set. ツ Well, I guess we just found ourselves another spot to dine and just enjoy our time together. ツ Thank you, Sillon! Indeed a Merry Christmas. ツ
